Dear FoS Research Fellows Society Members,
Applications for all four of our FoS Research Fellow Society Fund/Grants are now OPEN. This year we have received increased funding from FoS, the large majority of this goes to you via a wider number of grants, increased funding level, and greater number of people we are able to support.
The Seed Fund provides strategic research support to help develop independent research projects, improve chances of success with external funding agencies, and embark on new fields of research. The fund will provide up to $5,000 for research activity. All applications must be submitted by 29 April 2022. Please see the criteria we will be judging your applications by to guide you in writing your application .
The Publishing Grant is to assist with the costs associated with publishing manuscripts in scientific journals. This grant will provide up to $1,000 for publication costs. Applications will be accepted until 30 October 2022, or until funding runs out.
The Travel Grant is designed to provide the opportunity to disseminate research at major international conferences, or to attend a domestic conference. This grant will provide up to $500 for costs associated with participation at domestic/international conferences. Applications will be accepted until 16 September 2022, or until funding runs out.
The Professional Development Grant is designed to provide the opportunity to develop your professional skills in an area that will assist your research through a training program or course. This grant will provide up to $800 for costs associated with participation. Applications will be accepted until 16 September 2022, or until funding runs out.
